ABOUT ABOUT
The Roanoke premier of "Hillsville 1912: A Shooting in the Court". This film chronicles the events leading up to what has become known as the Carroll County Courthouse Massacre, a happening so explosive that even today, nearly 100 years later it still incites acrimony and argument as to what really happened that cold rainy day in March 1912. The Allen family and Carroll County's law enforcement and courts system literally exploded onto the world's newspapers with accounts of a courtroom shooting that left four dead, more wounded, and the ensuing manhunt was followed the world over for months afterward. The evening begins with dinner (advance reservations required for dinner) at 6:30, followed by a short musical performance by Conner & Miller ( composers of the film's score) and then the film presentation.

ATTENTION! THE FILMMAKER AND COMPOSERS WILL GIVE AWAY A DOWN-LOADABLE COPY OF THE MOVIE SOUNDTRACK TO THE FIRST 50 TICKET HOLDERS! SIGNED MOVIE POSTERS, CD'S, AND DVD'S WILL BE RAFFLED DURING THE EVENT!
